30th of March 2014 a Memorable Day

Photophilics is become an important word of my life,  first of all let me tell you all what is photophilics,  it is a group managed by photography enthusiast like me,  four months back we decide to build a group where we can promote photography and photographers like us, and decide to start our photo walks with the them of heritage, and what better place then old city of ahmedabad.

We have been to so many heritage sites of Ahmedabad to captured the glory and the grace,  after about ten successful walks we decided to go for an exhibition on the heritage of ahmedabad,  30th of March 2014 becomes a Memorable Day because we successfully arrange a exhibition and we got real good response from friends, family and photo enthusiasts.

"SUNRISE IS SYMBOL OF HOPE, AND SKY CARRIES THE HOPE" In the early mornings of Saturdays and Sundays i start my journey toward my favourite birding destination THOL,  i found many more interesting things to be captured other then birds, Sky is a play ground for birds ,   to me birds are filling colours in the sky ,   they actually make sky colourful by flying and roaming hear and there with their beautiful and colourful wings. ILLUSION

As usual,  I was at THOL last week,  every time I visit THOL I never plan what I would like to capture, or which bird I want to capture as I have plenty of options available at THOL. Like every season (winters) I keep visiting THOL to watch migratory birds comes from the different part of the world,  and I just captured them and park the photos in my computer’s hard drive,  But this year I wanted to do something different and I thought of doing some theme based photography on wildlife, specifically on birds, and share it on social media through my blog. GOD LEAD US FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT

तमसोमा ज्योतिर् गमय ।  ( Lead us from darkness to light) This shloka of Upnishad says Leads us from DARKNESS to LIGHT. It is very difficult for us to understand the whole Upnishad as they are very rare to find.   But we can have rich common (sorry, they are not common they are so meaningful, If one understands it... hear common means easily available) slokas available.   Hear i have posted a picture captured somewhere in outskirts of Ahmedabad last Saturday,  when i captured this image sun was about to set and the sunlight comes through subject (Plant as shown in the picture) which has created a picture, when i clicked it and the first thing stuck in my mind was the above mention Sloka from our ancient Upnishad.     The actual "MANTRA" is:- असतोमा सद्गमय । तमसोमा ज्योतिर् गमय । मृत्योर्मामृतं गमय ॥ ॐ शान्ति शान्ति शान्तिः ।। The Meaning of it is:- From ignorance, lead me to truth; From darkness, lead me to light; From death, lead me to
